What Causes Hyperactivity in Children? |
||||
|
Hyperactivity in Children, Attention Deficit Syndrome and a range of behavioural problems in children can be due to foods, food chemicals or food constituents. Although many of these children have psychological or family problems, there are nevertheless a group who, once the foods have been eliminated from their diet, show a marked and sustained improvement in their behaviour. There are others who show a percentage improvement once these factors are controlled and there are others for which the cause is totally different from food intolerance and these too must be identified and encouraged to seek the correct advice rather than pursue an inappropriate programme of elimination of foods, food chemicals or food constituents. Our allergy clinics will advise on the most appropriate ways of treating Hyperactivity in children.
